Welcome to my Blog

Welcome to my official blog. If you're looking for something in particular, you might want to type keywords into the search feature on the left-hand side of the page. And I've added a BLOG INDEX on its own page (a bit more complete than the one below) to make it easier. Poking around is also encouraged.

And please do leave comments! Don't be confused by the "author" field in the comment form. When you are writing a message to me and my readers, you are the author. (Nice role reversal, huh?)

Anne R. Allen & I Have Announcements!

For anyone who still doesn't know, Anne Allen and I go way back. We live within about a half-hour's drive of each other, and I figured out a week or so ago that we have been friend for 14 years.

Anne's blog Writing About Writing--Mostly has become a phenomenal success in the last couple of years. Today Anne is featuring a post from yours truly, titled: Rejection: Why it Doesn't Mean What You Think it Means. It's my ultimate rejection story, chosen out of literally thousands. (Literally. Thousands.)

But that's not even the most exciting part. There are announcements in this blog. There's the announcement of my upcoming self-editing workshop(s). There are two--count 'em, two--contest announcements with two signed, first-edition hardcovers of my books. And...drum roll, please, because I'm saving the best for last...the announcement that Anne's and my new book HOW TO BE A WRITER IN THE E-AGE—and keep your E-sanity! will be published by Mark Williams International  in June of 2012. The book will be available as an ebook that will include free six-month updates. AND it will also be available in paper in both a US and UK edition.

So hop on over to Anne's blog and check out today's post. And do yourself a favor and go back and visit Anne's blog on other Sundays. You won't be sorry you did.

The contests sound fantastic! Good luck with the workshops.

Right, I'm off over to Anne's blog...
