Welcome to my Blog

Welcome to my official blog. If you're looking for something in particular, you might want to type keywords into the search feature on the left-hand side of the page. And I've added a BLOG INDEX on its own page (a bit more complete than the one below) to make it easier. Poking around is also encouraged.

And please do leave comments! Don't be confused by the "author" field in the comment form. When you are writing a message to me and my readers, you are the author. (Nice role reversal, huh?)

And the New One is Free

My newest novel, Where We Belong, has actually been for sale on Amazon (ebook and paperback) for a couple of months. But we postponed promoting it, or shouting about it, because there was so much going on with the two Amazon Publishing titles, When I Found You and Walk Me Home. If you don't know what was going on with them, click back a post or two.

Now. Where We Belong's time has come.

From now through midnight on the 20th, the Kindle ebook edition is free to readers in the U.S. and Canada. (This is another one of those times when I must apologize to  my UK readers. The UK rights are owned by a traditional publisher, and I can't give their books away for free.)

Hopefully you know by now that Kindle books can be converted for Nooks and other ereaders, and that you don't need an ereader at all to take advantage of this offer.

Go grab a copy, and let me know what you think!

Dear Catherine,
thank you so much for the free book! I am a new fan of yours who just started reading your books not even a month ago and right from the very beginning I new you were destined to be my new favourite author :) I started with Don't Let me Go, which I absolutely adore, then When I found You and now I'm just finishing Walk Me Home. I can't wait to start with this one and I'm sure I'll read and I'll enjoy everything you've ever written. I keep telling everyone about your books and how much I love your style - you got a fan for life!
Keep up the great work! And thank you for everything!!!

Wonderful, Tatjana! The only thing better than a new fan is a new fan for life! I hope you enjoy Where We Belong!

I too am a new fan. I am so appreciative of your story line and your writing skills I have encouraged my two best friends to get on board with your books. One has already read "When I found you" and his response was, " I have only one complaint, she doesn't give you a good place to stop and get some sleep". This from an avid reader of Tom Clancy and James Patterson. My other "best" friend was climbing in the shower when I called her about my new favorite author and told her of your generous offer of a "free" book and she couldn't believe it. I'm sure she has ordered it by now before the shower. Thank you...........Carol

That makes me so happy, Carol! I love having new fans! And of course the fastest way to an author's heart is to tell your friends. Let me know as you read more. I'll always be happy to hear from you.

Hi Catherine!!!! I finished your new book, Where We Belong, the other day and I absolutely loved it. I loved Angie and Rigby! I didn't want the book to end. Every time I start a book of yours, I think to myself "I am so happy when I am reading Catherine's books!" Then I finish and I am sad. I start to read other authors and it is always such a chore to get through a book. It is not that way at all with your books!!!! Guess I need to start another one of yours so I will be happy! Keep the wonderful books coming, PLEASE!!!!!! You are awesome!

Hi Betsy, I'm so happy that you're enjoying the books. That's a great compliment--that you're happy when you're reading them. Wow. I'd better write faster! I don't wan't you to be unhappy. Off to follow you back on Pinterest.

Catherine: I just finished reading Where We Belong. This is the first book of yours I've read, and really enjoyed it! Thanks for making it available for free. I am a huge fan of Pay It Forward, the movie. I am excited to read more of your books.
